Instructions

  2. In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, butter, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the carrots and stir to coat.
  4. Cover and simmer on low for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Uncover, increase heat, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until carrots are tender and glaze thickens.
  6. Garnish with thyme before serving.
