- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 brioche buns
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, pickles, coleslaw
Instructions
- Heat a splash of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and bell pepper, sauté until translucent.
- Increase heat to medium-high, add the ground chicken, and cook until no longer pink, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and Cajun seasoning, allowing the mixture to meld together.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes to let the flavors deepen.
- Spoon the mixture onto brioche buns and top with optional toppings before serving.
