Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 brioche buns
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, pickles, coleslaw

Instructions

  1. Heat a splash of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and bell pepper, sauté until translucent.
  2. Increase heat to medium-high, add the ground chicken, and cook until no longer pink, breaking it up with a spoon.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and Cajun seasoning, allowing the mixture to meld together.
  4. Simmer for 5-7 minutes to let the flavors deepen.
  5. Spoon the mixture onto brioche buns and top with optional toppings before serving.
