Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Red or green food coloring (optional)
  • 1 cup whipped cream (for topping)
  • ½ cup crushed candy canes
  • Chocolate sauce (for drizzling, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar until well mixed.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie pan and bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly browned. Let cool.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then add peppermint extract and mix well.
  5. Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Spoon the filling into the cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  7. Before serving, whip additional heavy cream until soft peaks form, then spread over the pie.
  8. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes and drizzle with chocolate sauce if desired.

Notes

For best results, chill the mixing bowl before whipping the cream. Prepare the pie a day in advance to enhance the flavors.
