Ingredients

- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 4 ounces of sliced ham
- 4 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Spread Dijon mustard on the pastry if using.
- Layer the sliced ham evenly over the pastry.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the ham.
- Roll the pastry up tightly into a log.
- Slice the log into pinwheels about 1 inch thick.
- Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each pinwheel.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftover pinwheels in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in a preheated oven for the best texture.
