2-inch fresh ginger root (~50g), grated 1 whole organic lemon, freshly squeezed 2 tbsp raw honey 4 cups filtered water ½ tsp turmeric powder (optional)


Instructions

1. Peel ginger using spoon edge to preserve oils. 2. Grate finely with microplane just before brewing. 3. Boil water then remove from heat immediately. 4. Stir in grated ginger + lemon juice, cover, steep 7 minutes. 5. Strain, sweeten with honey, serve hot.

Notes
