Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and ensure your rack is in the middle for even baking.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, combine the hot cocoa mix, flour, baking soda, and salt; whisk together.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and tops are slightly cracked.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
