Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, butter, and powdered sugar until crumbly. Add the egg and combine to form a dough. Press into a tart pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, beat the ricotta, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla, and orange zest until smooth. Pour into the chilled crust.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds on top and bake for 35-40 minutes until set and lightly golden.
- Let cool, then drizzle with melted chocolate before serving.
Notes
For a lighter texture, consider draining whey from ricotta. Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for best results.
