Ingredients

- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 can (5 oz) evaporated milk
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Continue boiling for 4-5 minutes until the mixture reaches a soft ball stage (234°F or 112°C).
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped pecans.
- Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes, then drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
- Let cool completely and enjoy!

Use local pecans for the best flavor and crunch. Store pralines in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 7 days.
