Easy and forgiving no-bake truffles made with cookie dough and coated in dark chocolate.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 8 ounces dark chocolate, for coating
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the flour, vanilla extract, and salt, mixing until well combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to hold their shape.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until glossy and fluid.
- Dip each dough ball into the melted chocolate, covering completely, and place back on parchment paper.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate is set. Enjoy your truffles!
Notes
For added texture, you can roll the truffles in crushed pretzels or nuts before coating. For a festive touch, consider using white chocolate.
