- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cranberry juice or pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup hot water or hot herbal tea
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
- 1 pinch pink salt (optional)
- Extra vanilla (optional)
- Splash of honey or maple syrup (to taste)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, add 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin powder into 1/2 cup of cold water. Mix well and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Heat 1/2 cup of hot water or herbal tea in a pan until boiling, then turn off the heat. Add 1/2 cup of unsweetened juice and stir until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and a pinch of pink salt, then taste the mixture.
- Pour the gelatin mixture into a container and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until set.
- Once set, serve in small bowls, optionally topped with cream or yogurt.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. Optional to add fresh fruits or different juice combinations for flavor variations.
