  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine crushed pretzels, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into buttermilk, and then coat with pretzel mixture.
  4. Place the coated chicken on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and crispy.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar until glossy and smooth.
  7. Serve the crispy chicken with the mustard-cheddar sauce on the side.

Notes
