- 2 cups dark or milk chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or light vegetable oil (optional)
- 12 pieces Wooden popsicle sticks or lollipop sticks
- 1 sheet Parchment paper or silicone mat
- 1 piece Small sharp knife
- 1 clean bowl for melting chocolate
- 1 plate for drying strawberries
- 1 roll Paper towels
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries gently under cool water and pat them dry with paper towels, ensuring they are completely dry.
- Slice each strawberry in half lengthwise with a small sharp knife.
- In a clean bowl, measure your chocolate chips and add coconut oil if desired. Microwave in short bursts of 30 seconds, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each strawberry half into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and place them on parchment paper.
- Insert a popsicle stick into each half and let them cool until the chocolate hardens.
- Arrange on a platter and enjoy them as a family treat.
