Description

Delightful chocolate-dipped strawberries that bring family together in a sweet moment of joy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs fresh strawberries (medium to large)
  • 2 cups dark or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or light vegetable oil (optional)
  • 12 pieces Wooden popsicle sticks or lollipop sticks
  • 1 sheet Parchment paper or silicone mat
  • 1 piece Small sharp knife
  • 1 clean bowl for melting chocolate
  • 1 plate for drying strawberries
  • 1 roll Paper towels

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries gently under cool water and pat them dry with paper towels, ensuring they are completely dry.
  2. Slice each strawberry in half lengthwise with a small sharp knife.
  3. In a clean bowl, measure your chocolate chips and add coconut oil if desired. Microwave in short bursts of 30 seconds, stirring until smooth.
  4. Dip each strawberry half into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and place them on parchment paper.
  5. Insert a popsicle stick into each half and let them cool until the chocolate hardens.
  6. Arrange on a platter and enjoy them as a family treat.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They taste even better the next day!
