- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel candies, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
- Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Melt caramel in 30-second intervals until fully melted, then drizzle over cooled cookies.
- Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over caramel.
- Allow cookies to set at room temperature or refrigerate for faster setting.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients. Chill dough before baking for better texture.
