Description
Jillian Michaels gelatin gummies curb appetite with 3 ingredients. This foolproof recipe uses the gelatin bloom technique to create perfect meal prep cubes for pre-meal portion control and blood sugar support.
Ingredients
1/4 cup unsweetened cranberry juice (cold)
2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
1/2 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (raw, with the mother)
Instructions
1. Pour the cold unsweetened cranberry juice into a glass mixing bowl.
2. Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin powder evenly over the juice and let it sit completely undisturbed for 5 minutes (the gelatin bloom technique).
3. Pour the boiling water directly over the thick, bloomed gelatin paste.
4. Whisk vigorously for about two minutes until the liquid is entirely smooth, translucent, and no granules remain.
5. Let the hot mixture cool for two minutes, then gently stir in the apple cider vinegar.
6. Pour the liquid into silicone gummy molds and refrigerate flat for at least 2 hours at 35 degrees Fahrenheit until firm.
Notes
Storage: Store your finished gummies in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Do not leave them at room temperature or they will melt.
Usage: Consume two gummies alongside an 8 oz glass of water exactly 30 minutes before your heaviest meal of the day.
Substitutions: If you find cranberry juice too tart, you can substitute it with unsweetened tart cherry juice.
