  • Dice or slice the chicken breast and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Make the Garlic Butter

  • Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Cook the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, add the seasoned chicken and sauté until browned and cooked through, around 7-10 minutes.
  • Pour the garlic butter over the chicken to combine the flavors.

Make the Alfredo Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add heavy cream and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  • Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and chopped herbs.

Assemble the Garlic Bread Bowls

  • Prepare the garlic bread bowls by hollowing out the insides.
  • Brush the insides with leftover garlic butter and toast in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes until golden.

Fill and Serve

  • Spoon the creamy Alfredo chicken mixture into each toasted garlic bread bowl.
  • Garnish with more freshly grated Parmesan and herbs as desired.

Notes

For best texture when reheating, consider storing filling separately from the bread and toasting fresh bread when ready to eat. Don't overcook the chicken to keep it juicy.
