Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh apples (your choice, sweet varieties recommended) Fuji or Honeycrisp work best
  • 2 cups red or green grapes
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup optional, based on your sweetness preference
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (like walnuts or pecans) optional, for added crunch
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt for a creamier texture, optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients and ensure they are fresh.
  • Rinse the apples under cool water, then core and chop them into bite-sized pieces.
  • Rinse the grapes using a colander and pat them dry; halve them if they are larger.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples and grapes, ensuring they are well mixed.
  • Sprinkle the ground cinnamon over the fruit mixture, and drizzle honey or maple syrup if desired. Add the chopped nuts at this stage if using.
  • If using Greek yogurt, gently fold it in to combine without mashing the ingredients.

Serving

  • Serve immediately in a beautiful bowl to showcase its colors.

Notes

For the best textural contrast, use fresh, crisp apples. Keep the yogurt separate if making ahead of time. Consider adding lemon juice to prevent browning.
