Preparation

  • Cut fresh salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces about 1-1.5 inches.
  • Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for the flour mixed with a pinch of salt and pepper, one for whisked eggs, and one for the panko mixture with paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Dredge each salmon piece in flour, dip in the egg wash, and coat in the panko mixture.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Fry salmon pieces in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Prepare the Bang Bang sauce by combining mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar in a small bowl.

Serving

  • Remove salmon bites and let them drain on paper towels. Serve hot with Bang Bang sauce.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider baking the salmon bites at 400°F for 15-20 minutes. Ensure to pre-season the salmon for enhanced flavor.
