Rice Options

Vegetables

  • 1 cup Carrots, julienned For crunch and sweetness.

Instructions
 

Marinating the Steak

  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, and sugar to create a flavorful marinade.
  • Add your chosen cut of beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight.

Cooking the Steak

  • Heat a grill pan or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Remove the steak from the marinade and sear for about 3-5 minutes on each side.
  • Allow the steak to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Rice

  • Rinse white rice under cold water and cook according to package instructions.
  • For brown rice, adjust cooking time as needed, or sauté cauliflower rice until tender.

Assembling the Bowl

  • Start with a scoop of rice at the bottom of the bowl.
  • Slice the rested steak against the grain and lay on top of the rice.
  • Add your selected vegetables, kimchi, and any optional toppings.
  • Finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Marinate longer for tender meat, and don't skip resting the steak.
