Korean Retinol Tea

A soothing Korean-inspired herbal tea blend made with goji berries, jujube, green tea, chrysanthemum, and rose petals. Despite its name, it contains no actual retinol but provides vitamin A precursors and antioxidants that nourish skin from within, supporting hydration, elasticity, and overall glow.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp dried goji berries
  • 6–8 dried jujube fruits
  • 1 tsp green tea leaves
  • 1 tsp dried chrysanthemum flowers
  • 1 tsp dried rose petals
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • honey to taste (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Rinse goji berries and jujube under cold water. If jujube are very hard, soak for 15 minutes to soften.
  • Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add goji berries, jujube, and ginger. Reduce heat and simmer 10–15 minutes until fruits soften.
  • Remove from heat. Add green tea, chrysanthemum flowers, and rose petals. Steep 3–5 minutes.
  • Strain through a fine mesh strainer into cups. Press fruit gently to extract liquid. Add honey if desired.
  • Sip slowly and eat the softened goji berries and jujube for maximum benefit.

Notes

For best results, enjoy daily for 2–4 weeks. Don’t discard the softened goji berries and jujube—they’re nutrient-packed and delicious. Use organic ingredients if possible and avoid over-steeping the green tea to prevent bitterness. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
