Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain or Greek yogurt unsweetened, dairy or plant-based
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • optional toppings fresh fruit, nuts, spices, or sweetener

Instructions

  • Add 1 cup of yogurt and 2 tablespoons of chia seeds to a jar or bowl.
  • Stir thoroughly with a spoon or mini whisk to ensure seeds are evenly distributed.
  • Wait 10–15 minutes, then stir again to prevent clumping.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight (6–8 hours) for best results.
  • Before serving, add toppings like berries, nuts, honey, or spices if desired.
  • Consume within 3 days for best texture and freshness.

Notes

Use the 2:1 ratio of yogurt to chia seeds for ideal texture. Stir twice (once at the start and once after 15 minutes) to avoid clumps. Customize with your favorite toppings. Prep several jars in advance for easy grab-and-go breakfasts.
