Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs Chicken thighs provide more flavor and moisture.
  • 1 cup Buffalo sauce Adjust heat level as desired.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the chicken.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Creamy Dressing

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing Choose your favorite!
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt Optional for a healthier dressing.

For the Sliders

  • 12 pieces slider buns Choose white, whole wheat, or gluten-free.
  • Sliced celery and carrots for serving Optional additions for crunch.
  • Shredded lettuce For topping the sliders.

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
  • Place the cooked chicken in a bowl and shred it using two forks.

Combine with Buffalo Sauce

  • Pour the Buffalo sauce over the shredded chicken and mix until well combined.
  • Let it simmer for another 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Assemble the Sliders

  • Slice the slider buns in half. Optionally, toast them on a skillet or grill.
  • On the bottom half of each bun, place a generous scoop of the Buffalo chicken mixture.
  • Top with creamy dressing, shredded lettuce, and fresh veggies.
  • Close each slider with the top part of the bun.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Serve on a large platter and provide extra celery and carrots on the side.
  • Offer a small bowl of extra sauce or dressing for drizzling or dipping.

Notes

For a healthier dressing, use Greek yogurt. Store leftover buffalo chicken in an airtight container for up to 3 days; keep buns separate to prevent sogginess.
